Welcome to Our Condo,
our little slice of Pura Vida.

Our condos are nestled in the heart of Costa Rica’s oldest fishing village, Playas del Coco. We are steps from the pool; a stroll from the beach and a brief walk to main street. Both condos are fully furnished and provide everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Playas del Coco boasts a fully stocked grocery store with liquor store, bank, pharmacy, florist and gift shops. It has a huge selection of restaurants from pizza, chicken and burgers to steak houses, Italian restaurants and a beachfront club. There’s a post office, a slew of dive shops and fishing charters, internet cafes, a furniture store and a German bakery.

You’ll be bringing a small suitcase with you on this trip. You can bring your fancy dress up but for the most part, you will be strolling the streets and beaches of our paradise in shorts and sandals.

Our village is only 25 minutes from the airport in Liberia. You can arrange for transportation to Playas del Coco or you can email ahead to rent a car. All car rental companies pick up at the airport. They are also happy to provide you with maps and directions for your new adventure.

Playas del Coco and it’s surrounding waters are a sport fisherman’s paradise. Marlin season is roughly January to May with another peak in October. The best time to catch sailfish is mid December to the end of April. Yellowfin tuna, dorado, snapper, grouper and roosterfish can be caught all year round.

The coastal waters off Guanacaste offer a spectacular diversity of marine life for the scuba diver. The best months for diving coincide with the rainy season – May to October. However, this area is filled with canyons, cliffs, tunnels and walls for exciting diving all year round.

Giant manta play off the islands of Catalinas; whale sharks migrate along the coast from December to February; tiny clown shrimp and octopus hide under rocks…even the elusive frogfish made a home on a small wreck here.

Would you rather surf? The province of Guanacaste is recognized internationally, offering waves suitable for beginners to advanced surfers. Tamarindo, Roca Bruja (Witches Rock) and Playa Grande are all easily accessed from Playas del Coco. We’re heaven on earth for a surfer.

Costa Rica has become a mecca for birdwatchers and flyfishermen.

Playas del Coco is also a popular stopover for tourists travelling the country sampling everything Costa Rica has to offer….from pristine beaches to spas, natural hot springs and volcanoes….from ziplining in the treetops of the rainforest to sailing slowly down a lazy river by boat…

Come to our little slice of Pura Vida.
Try everything…or nothing. The pace of your vacation is up to you…but the home you come back to every night is with us.
